What do you use to filter people? What do you do when you see a cold email, an ad, or meet someone at a conference? How do you know when meeting someone if they are who they say there are? I met hundreds of people in Miami this week and everything people talked about was fantastic. If even 1% of what I heard comes true the world will look absolutely new in 5 years.
The “how do you vet people” question is really hard. I once heard someone say that your inbox is a “to-do” list other people make for you. But how do you know if there’s something you actually do want to do in there?
Still, even knowing nothing about investing, that text is outrageous. And you must get those all day! I know another investor who always says “oh wow, you have a billion dollar idea? Have you ever had a $50k idea that worked out?” Lol 😆
