What do you use to filter people?

What do you do when you see a cold email, an ad, or meet someone at a conference? How do you know when meeting someone if they are who they say there are?

I met hundreds of people in Miami this week and everything people talked about was fantastic. If even 1% of what I heard comes true the world will look absolutely new in 5 years.

Miami is closer to Tomorrowland than Disney Orlando.

The energy of this crypto city is unmatched. It’s becoming the global financial capital of the world because of the web3 friendliness. I have always preached that Utah was the place for web3, but now I’m starting to reconsider.

The city never sleeps, or maybe it does but it’s only from 5-6 am.

I did my first yacht ride and it was everything I hoped it would be.

I learned about 5 new crypto projects and met a degen creator like me on Twitter called @cryptofinally.

The most magical day of my work life was Giddy launching on Thursday. I was on an airplane and was able to do Defi on my phone to get the token. It went up 5x in cost by the time I was able to get money in and stake it. Coinlaunch.giddy.co

It is so hard to get our token right now and it’s not our fault, it’s Defi that sucks, and our app will fix all of it this summer. Here is a guide to doing it if you want to try.

Giddy is on fire and anyone around Defi knows it! We haven’t released an app but it will come in the summer and that’s when everything will change.

Giddy is going to be the king of Web3.

I cannot believe this girl playing drums for Foo Fighters. Watched on the plane and cried because you see Taylor the drummer who just died letting this 11-year-old rock out instead of him. And he seems proud.

I have gotten to love my Kiziks and how they allow me to easily get shoes on and off and feel great on my feet. I am going to collab with them and make a crypto-designed shoe. Love local Utah companies that are kicking ass and taking names. You can read more here.

The “how do you vet people” question is really hard. I once heard someone say that your inbox is a “to-do” list other people make for you. But how do you know if there’s something you actually do want to do in there?

Still, even knowing nothing about investing, that text is outrageous. And you must get those all day! I know another investor who always says “oh wow, you have a billion dollar idea? Have you ever had a $50k idea that worked out?” Lol 😆

Jealous you went to Miami!!!!!!!!! They have Utah beat on a lot of things I fear... including weather 🤩 Hope you had fun!
