For your debate on Jesus Christ, speaking strictly, on the historicity of his life, there’s probably nobody better in the world than Bart D. Ehrman, of “Misquoting Jesus” acclaim. If you can get him, that would be great. He doesn’t believe in the divinity of Jesus Christ though, so you could probably find somebody to take that other side. I’d recommend Tad Callister, perhaps, who wrote the seminal work, “The Infinite Atonement”, if you’d like for a lively debate, with some really good doctoral level work on both sides, backing things up. And from what I have seen, both are great speakers, orators and debaters. Tad was a lawyer in his prior life. And Bart is one of the world’s leading authorities on the Bible and Jesus Christ, and a professor at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
I am actually thinking this is next. I need to get Dave Bateman to be for flat earth and I am not sure who is qualified to talk about earth being round. We lost Galileo so many years ago.
