Thanks for this one. Given that VC financings have dried up, i am back at my many ages old entertainment game, working on 3 films at present including a super cool one about Nolan Bushnell and Atari. Your post gives me hope that magic can happen, as it has happened for me before. Stallone wrote the script in 3 days, sold the movie in less than a year, and grossed $225m of 1980’s dollars in less than 2 years. YES!
I saw this at the little Alhambra Theatre in Pleasant Grove. Awesome vintage 70's 80's environment. Not sure the year though, since I was only 8 in 1976 and not really movie going that young. Likely a couple of years past. It took awhile for things to make their way to rural quaint Utah. Loved it though. Magical. I lived all the other releases in real time through my teen years. Great to be an Orem High Tiger and have our Eye of the Tiger theme song rocking around Rocky 3 and Mr T. Awesome.

I've not only not seen "Rocky", I haven't seen "The Sound of Music".
