I met someone who had never seen Princess Bride. I haven’t seen Highlander and plan to this next week.

I’m up in the sky on this new JetBlue plane headed to Ft. Lauderdale. I’m thinking about my life and everything going on with family and work.

It was a crazy week for stocks and crypto.

People truly feel that a crash is coming like we have never felt before. My very own mentor and guide is worried and making preparations. But here is where my insanity actually makes me ready for this next decade. I spoke of it last week. I don’t mind having nothing but a backpack and a knife. I would have a little trouble at first without my iPhone, but I would quickly adjust and throw great parties around campfires.

Here is the other thing that keeps me thinking. Usually, a downturn comes at times when no one expects it. So when everyone is expecting it, I kind of think the opposite will be true. I actually think we might have 8 more years of absolutely amazing growth. But then things will get weird. Too many numbers make for odd coincidences.

Jesus would have been murdered approximately 2000 years earlier around 2030ish.
The crash that happened after the Roaring ’20s was almost 100 years ago.
And I think AI will be awake in the next 8 years.

So that’s my prediction. We have just only started to have 7 years of plenty. We will all do well and we should hold our spirits high.

Here is a crazier thought. What if the entire world hinges upon a few pockets of optimists in Utah? What if it’s actually our responsibility to build the world we want to live in vs. fear it all the time? I don’t know much, but I do know that I am supposed to play a role in this next chapter. I also think if you are reading this, you are supposed to do something.

I got to teach some higher-ups at the Mormon church about blockchain.

I have to think that it was an important meeting. Still, most religious organizations are 20 years behind on most social and technological movements, so we will see if they dig deeper. I was super pleased to see how eager the 12 men were to download a private wallet and let me be the first to give them Giddy and watch them stake it.
