Natalie had a dream this week that we had grandkids playing in the snow in our backyard. She said it brought her more joy than any dream she has ever had and it felt as real as life itself.
Talk to our teenagers and they have forsaken the idea of kids. My hope is my girls read this daily journal in some future day and realize that their mom saw a true vision of the future.
This dream made me think of what is a top 10 movie that we discovered shortly after we got married. If you haven’t seen Raising Arizona, take a chance on my recommendation. I will send $20 your way if you are not fully delighted watching it.
At the end, Nicholas Cage has a dream, not to different than Natalie’s. Here is the clip below and it’s not a spoiler. It might be the only movie ever created where the script ends with “Utah”.

Also, in 90 min. I have my ADHD meetup in Utah County…event is below on this email.
I love this scene of this movie. When it first came out, I was the only Utard at Colby College, and literally EVERYONE turned and looked at me when this scene came on. BTW, my nickname was Big Utah, or Agent Utah (Point Break). I now live 6 months a year in a surf hideout that looks more or less the same as what Bodhi from Point Break lived in. AND I did the deal for the purchase of the big yacht they used in the remake, on behalf of once of the Vice Media founders. So FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS AND YOU’LL LIVE THEM, you muh’fuggahs! Written from the best house in the world, by a proud Utard, right here in OGDEN, UTAH!
One of my all time favorite movies. I have this on my wall. https://www.etsy.com/listing/247493381/maybe-it-was-utah-screenprint-of?ref=share_v4_lx
