I was on the phone with my favorite drug dealer discussing tickets to the Zach Bryant concert when he informed me that today is Green Wednesday.
He is founder and CEO of Beehive Farmacy
I asked him to write me up a blip about Green Wednesday, but here we are at 4pm and I haven’t heard back. I can only imagine he is super busy at the store right now and wasn’t able to get around to it.
He told me that the rush to buy weed on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving is so customers can chill around family. Seems like a great idea post election season. Getting high is the only way that our politics start to make any sense to me. I end up realizing we keep electing a comedian because we love the content. Trump’s meme game is strong, whether he knows it or not.
While riding the Payday chairlift at Park City today, I mentioned that it was Green Wednesday and a woman sitting next to me and she said her brother in fact was buying from the local dispensary so he could get “through” the holiday.
As for me, I dream of a day where cannabis is integrated into the Thanksgiving meal for the entire family. Imagine cannabis infused pumpkin pie and the whole family has and evening like they’ve never experienced. Maybe that pie is served only at the grownups table.
I know Snoop and Martha could pull off this pumpkin pie recipe and it would really trend. They just need someone to pitch them the idea. Can someone who knows them send this to either Snoop or Martha?
…This just in from my guy at 4:05:
Quickly rising in popularity and rivaling only the highest of high holidays (420), Green Wednesday is the cannabis industry’s second busiest day. This means getting stocked up to get a little thc to help through those three plates of tryptophan
And of course Beehive Farmacy (in SLC and Brigham City) is celebrating in full force by offering Green Wednesday and Cyber Monday promos. -Bijan Sakaki
Beehive Farmacy will be at my 420th email celebration event with a table and some educational materials.
I also have a 20 boxes with a months supply of Stack from Phi for the guests that ask the hardest questions during my interview. There is no cannabis in our vitamin products for those wondering, but I can tell you that the day stack makes you feel great.
If any of you coming to the event want to provide something or shill something, that's usually what ends up happening at events I put on, so bring it. I could use a pizza sponsor and you get 3 minutes on stage to tell everyone about your product or service.
Happy 4:20 on this lovely Green Wednesday
