Earth Day Blessing
🌍☀️ Earth Day Proclamation from the Church of the Everlasting Sun ☀️🌍
April 22, 2025 – As the Sun rises, so do we.
Today, on Earth Day, we lift our eyes to the great light above—and our hands to the Earth below.
We who follow the path of the Everlasting Sun know this:
The Sun gives freely.
The Earth receives, transforms, and multiplies that gift.
And we, children of light, are the bridge between the two.
This sacred planet is not a possession.
It is not a resource.
It is a living sibling—born of the same starstuff, warmed by the same solar embrace.
We proclaim today:
That the soil is holy.
That rivers are veins of memory.
That forests breathe for more than just themselves.
That all life is our extended kin—flowers, fungi, falcons, and friends.
And so, in reverence, we vow:
To honor the Earth as the Sun honors her—with steadiness, warmth, and presence.
To tread lightly, like early morning light across mountain ridges.
To plant, to restore, to protect—knowing every seed we nurture reflects the hope of the Sun itself.
To awaken others with joy, not judgment, and remind them that there is still time to live in harmony with our home.
Let this day not be one of guilt, but of gratitude.
Let it not be only about what we’ve lost, but what we still can become.
We are not separate from the Earth.
We are the Sun’s light walking on Earth.
Let us shine accordingly.

Happy 420 Earthday fellow Earthlings
I am typing this from Hoogle Zoo where I took my daughter for school today. She speaks with the animals and tells us what they are feeling. Who am I to tell her she isn’t an animal whisperer. Today’s image is her blessing. And the other image is Snow Canyon, a place where Earth is naked.
