How many times this week did you ask yourself this question?

More and more I feel like I am in 2nd grade all over again. But this time I realize that the teacher and the principal are also students with me and my same age.

The world is made up of humans that are basically all the same age with the same experiences when you really break it down. Putin is just another kid in the playground that thinks he can be a bully for a second. And he can. No one will stop him. Because in the end, we are all just kids. The only thing that can really govern us are smart contracts and/or a god(s). These two things will persist past the measly 85 years that a single homo sapien does his or her thing

Silicon Slopes threw the biggest party on Thursday night. Everyone in Utah was there. Well, at least all the tech girls and boys were there. Such a wonderful night. Natalie and I sat at the table of Tafi or DAZ3d, which make many of the most famous NFTs you have heard of. James Thornton is the CEO and invited me. We have plans to make an NFT fund, so you just invest in a fund to get exposure to NFTs vs crawling around Discord channels trying to guess which will be the next big ones. Earlier in the day before the big dinner, I gathered a group of crypto leaders to go to the capitol building. We had an audience with Sen. Mike Lee and taught him the future of web3. He loved it!

Then I met Governor Spencer Cox for a hot minute. Everywhere I go I get introduced as the mascot of crypto for Utah. I like it, I’ll take that calling with honor and do my best. We are putting together the blockchain association and a task force so we can make sure all things web3 have great education and representation as bills are being passed.

My team in Ukraine is telling me they are ok. For over 5 years we have had an office in Lviv, near the Poland border. I don’t even know what is happening right now and what they can be thinking. But I wore my vyshyvanka and painted my nails to show support that I can.

Trent has been on an absolute stride finishing up our first quarter of fundraising for ConvoiVentures.com and let’s just say it’s beautiful. We have 50 LPs and so many deals in the pipeline. Within less than a year I predict we will be Utah’s most prolific seed fund. Our portfolio will have a hundred companies in it in just a short 24 months. They will all be here in Utah!! No startup founder left behind, that should be our motto.

I went to ETH Denver looking for projects more interesting than the ones happening in Utah. There were great ones, but nothing like what we are doing at Giddy. Look for Giddy billboards on the freeway, we have so many good ones coming out and our token and app will release this quarter.
