I turn 45 this September. The square root of 2025 is 45 so I will probably be translated to heaven or something in a twinkling of the eye (Mormon lore).
If your age = √(year), then year = age². You’re 45 in 2025 because 45² = 2025.
Last time this happened was when someone was 44 in 1936, since 44² = 1936.
Next time will be when someone is 46 in 2116, since 46² = 2116.
So it’s a pretty rare gig—every year the age steps by 1, the matching year jumps by a quadratic amount. I’ve hit a neat numeric milestone!
Only the 1980s kids are going to feel this phenomenon. The next batch will be born in 70 years or something, and the last batch died before I was born.

Good to know, it does feel like a pivotal year! Sam and I are born just about a month apart (and incrementally one month b4 you, Sam is the oldest July, August, then you! I knew there was some kind of kindred spirit star alignment thing going on :-)✨🌌🤘
High 5! Was my birthday 3 days ago and I'm 45 too. Another interesting fact is we are a sub-group called "Xennials" because we were born between Generation X and the Millenials. We had an analog childhood but a digital youth etc etc. Another interesting thing about our age group. Cool 😎👍
