Bono's Startup: U2
International flights are guilt free hours to binge video content. Last week on the flight home from Dublin I finished all the Black Mirror episodes, but appropriately watched the most famous Irish musician’s special on Apple TV, “Bono Stories of Surrender”.
The entire production felt felt like the story of starting a company with a bunch of friends and experiencing product market fit after a few albums. In the 90s U2 was my my fav and for sure my favorite album was Joshua Tree. Feelings i’ve had while listening to their music has inspired many thoughts and decisions I have had over the last 35 years. Their first album, Boy, released a month after I was born.
I went to several concerts of theirs, over time and unfortunately missed their debut at the Sphere in Las Vegas. I will be heading down today to see the recorded show they still have there on our anniversary tomorrow. The U2:UV experience will be enough for all my good memories and feelings to resurface.
I would love any hints on places not to miss in Vegas, as I know some of you are well versed in the offerings of the City of Sin…like food and libations. I plan to try some Japanese Yakiniku BBQ place and a french cafe but I am there for 3 days and have plenty of extra time between poolside vibes and tantra sessions with Natalie.
Happy 420 to all
